Brrrr! Baby it's cold outside!

Oh my goodness, it is freezing today!  17 degrees with it feeling like 2 and tonight suppose to be in the negatives!  The wind burns your skin when you go outside.  And with having to take our sweet little puppy outside a few times a day, I feel for him.  Today, Jack, got his 1st vet haircut and bath.  Maybe with less hair, he'll be quick outside doing his business.  He needed that cut and boy does he smell wonderful.  There's nothing like getting a professional bath vs. me giving him a bath.

Snow Days!

So it's begun....snow!  Snow and I have a love/hate relationship.  I love it til about late February/early March, then I want spring in a huge way.  One of the things I love about snow is how it makes everything look.  Snow is amazingly beautiful!  Another thing I love about it is watching my kids play in the snow.  They love making snowballs and of course throwing them until one or two of them are screaming because either their face is burning from the snow or they are frozen from the snow sliding down inside their jacket.  Regardless, it always puts a smile on my face to watch the excitement of my children when it snows.  Us southern people can't wait for the snow because we get to make snow ice cream!  It's so yummy!  I always make some on the 2nd snow fall.  I assume it's cleaner that time around.
